Pastor Jimmy Rust was raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He was blessed to be raised by
Christian parents and received Christ as Lord and Savior at a youth camp in 1965
at Glorieta New Mexico. After attending college , he married his High School sweetheart,
Debbie McKinney (1972). God has blessed Jimmy and Debbie with three boys, and five
grandchildren.
Pastor Jimmy was called into the Lord's service in 1992 as a Youth Pastor where he saw miracles happen and souls saved. This continued for thirteen years and then God opened the door for him to serve as pastor at Ryanwood The vision the Lord has given Pastor Jimmy is for Ryanwood Baptist Church to become the Lighthouse that God intended it to be. Ryanwood Baptist Church is a church family consisting of many people with a volunteer spirit. Brother Jimmy is very appreciative of all the church members who volunteer to help keep Ryanwood serving the members and community. |
